Eastern Michigan too much for NAIA Marygrove 83-52

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — Mike Samuels and Mike Talley both scored 10 points and Eastern Michigan beat NAIA-member Marygrove College 83-52 on Monday.
All 12 Eastern Michigan players that entered the game scored and six finished with eight or nine points.
The Eagles (7-0) trailed once at 2-0. After that, they scored at will on the undermanned Mustangs. Eastern quickly built up a 20-6 lead, punctuated by 3-pointers from Jodan Price and Talley, and led 47-18 at the break before emptying its bench in the second half.
Marygrove played better in the second half scoring 34 points to Eastern's 36, but the game was out of reach early.
Darryll Dixon led Marygrove with 24 points, but was just 4 of 12 from beyond the arc. Marygrove was 7 of 28 on 3-pointers as a team.
