Aug. 07, 2017
HOUSTON (AP) — Harris County sheriff's investigators say an 18-year-old man already in custody for taking an SUV belonging to a 44-year-old murdered man now is charged with his slaying and may be connected to another disappearance.
Brandon Lyons is charged with capital murder for the February death of Glenser Soliman. He was reported missing after failing to show up for work at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. His body was found 11 days later in suburban Spring.
Detectives say they're also looking whether Lyons is involved in the disappearance of 26-year-old University of Houston student An Vinh Nguyen (win). He's missing and his vehicle was found not far from Soliman's.
Police also are looking for Lyons' 26-year-old cousin, Jerrett Jamal Allen, who is charged with unlawfully using Nguyen's credit cards.
