HOUSTON (AP) _ The Houston Rockets activated forward Joe Stephens and center Charles Jones for Friday night's game at Atlanta to replace injured forwards Matt Bullard and Rodrick Rhodes.
Stephens had been on injured reserve since Jan. 21 with patella tendinitis in his right knee, while Jones had been out since March 3 with a lower back strain.
Stephens is in his second year with the Rockets and has played only in four games, averaging 3.5 points in 5.8 minutes per game. Jones has played in 21 games, averaging less than a point.
Bullard suffered a strained left Achilles tendon during Thursday night's 104-94 loss to Golden State. Rhodes missed the game with a left shoulder sprain.
