DAYTON, Ohio (AP) _ University of Dayton junior forward Rodney Horton has been suspended from the team indefinitely.
Coach Oliver Purnell said Horton's suspension was for ``conduct and attitude detrimental to the basketball team.''
Doug Hauschild, university sports information director, said Friday that Horton was suspended during practice Thursday, and had no additional information.
The 6-foot-5 Horton is averaging 9.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 19 games this season.

Lumberjacks coach Derek Allister said Colter has not lived up to ``academic expectations.''

MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ The University of Wisconsin fired Jim Launder after 15 years as soccer coach Friday, over the objections of players who disputed arguments that he did not adequately motivate the team.
Launder's Badgers won the 1995 NCAA championship and he was selected NCAA coach of the year. He was partly responsible for converting Wisconsin's club soccer program to a varsity sport in 1979.
Wisconsin fell 11-5-5 last season, failing to qualify for the NCAA tournament.
The dismissal stems from an athletic department feeling that communications were poor and that the team needs greater motivation.
