Lobkov, Manli Win at Speedskating Worlds

ERFURT, Germany (AP) _ Russia's Dimitri Lobkov won the men's 500 at a speedskating World Cup event Sunday in 35.15 seconds, while Canadian Jeremy Wotherspoon was third.
Japan's Joji Kato was second in 35.19. Wotherspoon, the World Cup leader, finished in 35.27 after winning the 500 Saturday for his 55th World Cup triumph.
In the women's 500, China's Manli Wang won in 38.13 to build her lead in the World Cup standings in the discipline. She edged Anxhelika Kotiuga of Belarus, who finished in 38.14.
Others winners included Beorn Nijenhuis, who took the 1,000 in 1:09.20 and China's Fengtong Yu, who beat Mark Nielsen of Canada in the 100 by just 0.01 seconds with a time of 9.56.
Marianne Timmer of the Netherlands took the women's 1,000 in 1:15.58 and Sayuri Osuga of Japan won the 100 in 10.42.
