YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Two teenagers have been arrested and a third is being sought in the death of a 17-year-old in Yakima.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports that Napolean Prado Jr. was repeatedly shot Tuesday morning after someone got out of a car to talk to him.
On Wednesday, police asked the public to help them find 15-year-old Luis Medina-Beltran, who they say was the gunman. An arrest warrant was issued charging him with first-degree murder, among other crimes. Police consider him armed and dangerous.
The two others arrested in connection to the shooting — an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old — were being held for investigation of rendering criminal assistance. Police believe they were in the car with the gunman. Their bail was set Wednesday at $50,000 each.
