Alex Rodriguez and Robert Perez also homered for Seattle, which had five in a game for the first time this season.
The Mariners, who have won three straight for the first time since a six-game winning streak in mid-April, lead the majors with 54 homers. Seattle, seeking its third division title in four seasons, moved to within a game of .500 at 15-16.
Albert Belle hit his seventh homer of the season for the White Sox.
Fassero (3-1) allowed one run, struck out five and walked two in the 11th complete game of his career and first of the season.
Scott Eyre (1-4) gave up five hits, including four solo homers, struck out five and walked three in five innings.
Segui led off the second inning with a homer and Rodriguez added a solo shot in the third.
Dan Wilson doubled in the fourth and scored on a throwing error by Eyre on what should have been an inning-ending double play.
Belle opened the fifth with a homer, but Griffey and Segui hit consecutive shots for Seattle in the bottom of the inning.
Wilson had a two-run single in the seventh.
