LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) _ Julie Lake scored 21 points, including 15-of-16 from the free-throw line, as No. 10 Texas Tech overcame poor shooting for a 65-42 victory over Baylor on Saturday night.

Angie Braziel added 14 points and Cara Gibbs had 10 for Texas Tech (19-2, 8-1 Big 12).

Lara Webb led Baylor (11-9, 3-5) with 16 points, while Danielle Crockrum added 12.

The Red Raiders shot just 26 percent (7 of 27) in the first half and 35 percent (20 of 57) overall. Tech led 25-24 at halftime.

But Baylor also shot 35 percent, and Texas Tech hit 24 of 26 free throws.
