WEST HAVEN, Utah (AP) — A West Haven couple has been accused of tax evasion over a four-year period.
The Utah Attorney General's Office says Daniel Chester Erickson and his wife Bobbi Jo each are facing four counts of tax evasion, four counts of failing to render proper tax returns and one count of pattern of unlawful activity.
The two 36-year-olds are Weber County residents, but have been charged in Salt Lake City's 3rd District Court.
Utah State Tax Commission officials say the Ericksons didn't report any income on their 2013 and 2014 tax returns and didn't file state income tax in 2015 and 2016.
The Standard-Examiner reports the couple was released Friday from the Salt Lake County Jail with their next scheduled court appearance on April 23.
It's unclear if they have attorney yet.
