WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A Millbury man struck by a teenage driver late last week as he was running across Route 20 in Worcester has died.
Police say 38-year-old David Drost died at the hospital on Sunday night after getting struck at about 11 p.m. Friday.
Drost was apparently trying to run across the street near a bar when he was struck by a westbound car driven by a 16-year-old Millbury girl.
Police say the impact threw Drost into the bar's parking lot with head trauma and internal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
