NAPLES, Maine (AP) — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department says one person was killed and another seriously injured in a collision in the town of Naples.

Deputies say the passenger in a pickup was killed Friday when the truck collided with a tractor-trailer.

Deputies identified the victim as 33-year-old Brian Bailey of Bridgton. Deputies say Bailey was a passenger in the truck operated by 30-year-old Thomas Ford of Casco, who was seriously hurt.

The tractor-trailer operator suffered minor injuries.

Part of Route 302 was closed afterward.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department, the Windham Police Department reconstruction team and the Maine State Police commercial truck unit were investigating.
