AURORA, Colo. (AP) _ Broncos defensive tackles Daryl Gardener and Russell Newman were arrested after a fight with another customer at a restaurant, police said Friday.

The players were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct early Friday morning, police spokesman Dan Mark said. Gardener and Newman were booked and released on personal recognizance bonds.

An argument inside the restaurant over a long wait to be seated spilled out into the parking lot, according to a police report.

Team spokesman Jim Saccomano said he was not aware of the arrests.

Gardener joined the Broncos in March after starting 15 games last season for the Washington Redskins. Newman was signed by the team in January.
