WASHINGTON (AP) _ President Reagan intends to nominate John Alderson to be administrator of the General Services Administration, the White House announced Tuesday.

Alderson, who has been serving as acting administrator since April, would succeed Terence C. Golden in the post. The GSA acts as the government's housekeeping arm and landlord.

In a separate announcement, the White House said Reagan intends to nominate Warren Zimmermann to be the ambassador to Yugoslavia.

Zimmermann, a career member of the Foreign Service, currently is chairman of the U.S. delegation to the Vienna Follow-up Meeting of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Upon Senate confirmation, he would succeed John Douglas Scanlon.
