YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) _ Demond Tidwell passed for 300 yards _ 199 of them to Renauld Ray _ and Adrian Brown rushed for three touchdowns as Youngstown State overcame a 14-3 deficit to beat Buffalo 52-17 Saturday.

The Penguins (6-0) fell behind early as Joshua Roth and Anthony Swan each scored on short runs for Buffalo (2-5).

But with Tidwell completing 19-of-27 passes for 300 yards, YSU opened things up the rest of the way.

The Penguins gained 168 yards on the ground, led by Demetri Harris' 54 yards on 11 carries. Brown, who had 35 yards on nine carries, scored on runs of 3, 1 and 2 yards. Jared Zwick carried four times and scored on half of them, on runs of 1 and 9 yards.

Ray had eight catches, including a 39-yard touchdown pass from Tidwell.

Chad Salisbury completed 16-of-34 passes for 197 yards with one interception for the Bulls, who did not score in the second half.
