Displaced students attend classes at nearby ski resort

WARREN, Vt. (AP) — Students at a Vermont elementary school displaced after their school tested positive for mold and asbestos have been able to return to class with the help of a nearby ski resort.
The Times Argus reports (http://bit.ly/2wnprQj ) Warren Elementary School students started classes at Sugarbush Resort Monday for the first time since a flood damaged their school building over the Labor Day weekend.
School Director Rosemarie White says the school's insurer would have paid for the relocation, but Sugarbush offered the space for free.
School was suspended at Warren Elementary after a seam on the roof opened during a rainstorm Sept. 3. The flood damage added four more days to the two students already missed for cleaning after a renovation.
It is unclear how long the students will remain at Sugarbush.
