BLOIS, France (AP) _ A farmer and his wife were trampled and killed by a bull at their farm in central France.

Police said the bull first charged Jean-Marie Guillon, 46, as he was trying to herd a group of animals back to an enclosure on Sunday. The bull then trampled Jocelyne Guillon, 43, as she tried to aid her husband.

One of the couple's two children summoned help, but the Guillons were dead by the time other people arrived at the farm in Courmemin, near the Loire Valley town of Blois.
