CHICAGO (AP) _ Jalen Rose scored 27 points and Tyson Chandler had a career-high 22 rebounds and 19 points as the Chicago Bulls beat the Denver Nuggets 88-69 on Saturday night.

Chicago snapped an eight-game losing streak, while Denver dropped to 3-23 on the road with its 11th loss in 13 games. Chicago has the NBA's worst road record at 2-27.

Rose scored 20 second-half points, and Chandler had 11 and 14 rebounds in the second half. Lonny Baxter added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Bulls

Juwan Howard had 18 points for Denver, and Vincent Yarbrough had 11. The Nuggets shot 29 percent in the third quarter and were outscored 23-2 during an 8:30 span. Denver finished the game at 38 percent and went 2-for-8 from three-point range.

Notes: The game featured 39 turnovers. Denver had 20 and Chicago 19. ... Chicago's Jay Williams needed two stitches to close a cut above his left eye. ... Despite both teams having terrible seasons the game drew a capacity crowd of 22,145. ... Nuggets coach Jeff Bzdelik had about 40 family members and friends attending the game. Bzdelik is from the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
