GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. (AP) _ The New York Yankees will appear on a limited-edition Wheaties box following their four-game sweep Wednesday of the San Diego Padres in the 1998 World Series.

The 18-ounce package will be available throughout the New York metropolitan area starting next week, said David Dix, spokesman for Wheaties maker General Mills.

The box will feature David Wells, Derek Jeter and Bernie Williams on the front and Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill, Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, David Cone, Andy Pettitte and Derek Jeter on the back of the package.

Wheaties will make a 10-cent donation to the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, an organization founded by former Miami Dolphins great Nick Buoniconti, for every box of Wheaties and several other cereals produced by the Golden Valley-based cereal maker.
