NEW ORLEANS (AP) _ New England Patriots tackle Matt Light took part in Wednesday's practice for the Super Bowl and showed no ill effects from an ankle injury.
Light was the only player on the Patriots' injury report other than quarterback Tom Brady. Coach Bill Belichick said Wednesday night Brady's left ankle had healed well enough for him to start Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.
New England punter Ken Walter, who left the team for two days to be with his wife for the birth of their son, also returned to practice Wednesday.
