EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) _ Stephanie White scored 23 points Tuesday night to lead No. 24 Purdue past Northwestern 81-64.

The Boilermakers (11-5 overall, 4-2 Big Ten) jumped out to a 20-11 lead and were up 37-25 at halftime as the Illini managed to hit only 25 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half.

The Wildcats (5-12, 0-5) rallied to get within two points in the second half, but then Purdue pulled away.

The Boilermakers shot 62 percent from the field in the second half.

Both teams were cold from the foul line. Illinois was 12 of 23 in free throws and Purdue made 13 of 21.

Kristina Divjak led Northwestern with 17 points, while Megan Chawansky added 16 and Dana Leonard 13.

Michelle Duhart had 18 points and 16 rebounds for Purdue, which dominated the boards with a 45-33 rebound advantage.
