Aug. 10, 2018
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans police say a continuing dispute reportedly was behind a recent triple shooting on Interstate 10.
A news release Friday says police have a warrant to arrest 19-year-old Nas Jackson of New Orleans on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal use of a firearm.
He's accused in an Aug. 1 midday attack in which someone opened fire from one moving car into another on the highway in eastern New Orleans.
Bullets wounded a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy and grazed a 2-year-old boy. A woman and a 3-year-old child in the car were unhurt. Their car left the highway before stopping.
Directory assistance did not have a number at which Jackson could be reached for comment.
