Extreme Right Leader's Ex-wife Poses for Playboy

PARIS (AP) _ The ex-wife of Jean-Marie Le Pen, the extreme right leader and presidential candidate, has posed nearly nude for the July issue of the French edition of Playboy.
Pierrette Lalanne, 50, is shown partly dressed in a maid's costume in the eight-page display. The magazine quoted her as saying she decided to pose for the photographs in response to her ex-husband's comments in an interview, also in Playboy, that if she needed money she should do housecleaning.
The magazine caused a sensation Wednesday at the French Parliament, where Le Pen is a member, but he had left the building before copies of the magazine arrived.
Officials of Le Pen's National Front party said he was not available for comment.
The Le Pens had three children before their publicly bitter divorce.
Le Pen, the only declared candidate so far for next year's presidential elections, has stirred controversy with his calls for a crackdown on immigration and for putting AIDS patients in special asylums. Polls show him drawing around 10 percent of the vote.
His party has 35 members in the 577-seat National Assembly.
