BARCELONA, Spain (AP) _ Spain outscored Italy 14-2 in the second overtime for a 92-80 victory Wednesday in a women's basketball classification game.

Monica Messa's leaning 3-pointer with one second left in the first overtime tied the score at 78 and produced the second overtime. Ana Alvaro then scored nine points in the first minute of the second session to break it open.

Spain (2-2) will play Czechoslovakia for fifth place on Friday. Czechoslovakia (1-3) beat Brazil 74-62 earlier Wednesday. Brazil (1-3) and Italy (0-4) will play for seventh place on Friday.

Italy had a chance to beat Spain in regulation play. The Italians inbounded the ball with 5 seconds left and Silvia Todeschini banked in a layup, but a traveling call negated the basket.

Alvaro and Blanca Ares each scored 19 points to lead Spain. Mara Fullin's 18 points led Italy.
