LOS ANGELES (AP) — Outfielder Chris Heisey and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a $2.16 million, one-year contract, avoiding arbitration.

The 30-year-old outfielder hit .222 with eight homers and 22 RBIs in 119 games last season with Cincinnati. He was acquired by the Dodgers last month.

Heisey made $1.76 million last season. His new deal does not include any performance bonuses.
