Body found at North Maroon Peak identified as missing hiker

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Officials say they found the body of a 57-year-old hiker reported missing earlier this week.
Pitkin County Deputy Michael Buglione says in a news release that Rei Hwa Lee of Littleton died after falling from the north face of North Maroon Peak in central Colorado.
The Aspen Times reports (http://bit.ly/2vPwO79 ) Lee's body was located Tuesday by members of Mountain Rescue Aspen. Her children reported her missing on Sunday after she did not return from her trip.
Volunteers initially searched through a large area in the Maroon Bells Wilderness before receiving tips that Lee been spotted heading up North Maroon Peak.
Officials are unsure from where Lee fell or whether she summited the mountain. Lee's death is the second in the Maroon Bells area this year.
