DENVER (AP) _ ServiceSource International Inc. (SREV) on Monday reported a loss of $8.9 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Denver-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, were 1 cent per share.

The service revenue management software company posted revenue of $61.1 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in October, ServiceSource expects its per-share earnings to range from 1 cent to 2 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $60 million to $61 million for the fiscal third quarter.

ServiceSource expects full-year earnings in the range of 9 cents to 11 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $246 million to $249 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $3.82. A year ago, they were trading at $3.75.
