It's a boy! Baby giraffe doing well at Seattle zoo

SEATTLE (AP) — An examination of the giraffe born Tuesday at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle reveals that it is a boy.
The zoo says the 6-foot (2-meter) tall calf is nursing normally and seems to be doing well. He'll be 18 feet (5.5 meters) tall when fully grown.
The zoo says he'll be named privately. His mother is 6-year-old Olivia. The only other giraffe at the zoo is Olivia's 5-year-old sister, Tufani.
The father was Chioke, who died in January at the age of 7 from stomach and kidney problems.
The calf should be following his mother out of the barn in a week or two and will be introduced into the African Savanna exhibit in a few months.
