JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) — A Tennessee man has been arrested in the 2010 death of an 80-year-old woman.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a news release that 35-year-old Michael Scott Mowdy of Savannah is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. He's being held without bond in the Sept. 8, 2010, death of Otylier Callens, whose body was found by Savannah police in her home.
The TBI said authorities in May arrested Callens' 68-year-old daughter, Patsy Lynn Shelby of Ashland City. She is charged with first-degree murder in the case and remains in custody.
Online jail records didn't list lawyers who could comment on behalf of Mowdy or Shelby.
