ATLANTA (AP) _ Delta Air Lines said Tuesday it will begin flying to Santiago, Chile, on Nov. 1 as it continues to expand its Latin American operations.

The flights, on Boeing 767 jumbo jets, will be from Delta's main hub in Atlanta.

Since 1997, Delta has increased its service to Central and South America, offering 23 daily flights to 13 countries. The airline is also seeking government permission to begin serving Bogota, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Montevideo, Uruguay.
