TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) _ Heavy rains forced the cancellation of the third round Saturday in the JCPenney Classic.

The tournament, with teams Pat Hurst-Scott McCarren and Donna Andrews-Mike Hulbert tied for the lead at 1-under par, has been shortened to 54 holes with Sunday as the final round.

Kelli Kuehne and Tiger Woods sit one stroke back at 130.

Play at the Innisbrook Hilton Resort began at 8 a.m. EST, was suspended at 8:23 a.m. and finally was called for the day at 11:15 a.m.

Sunday's format will follow alternate-shot play with the third round tee times carrying over from Saturday.
