RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) _ A bomb exploded Wednesday outside a popular shopping mall in the capital, causing damage but no casualties, security officials said.
The explosive device went off in a telephone booth outside the Euro Marche shopping mall on the outskirts of Riyadh, the security officials said on condition of anonymity.
Police cordoned off the area, said the officials.
The mall is one of the most popular in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. The French franchise is owned by a group of Saudi investors.
Three still unsolved bombings _ two in Riyadh and one in Khobar in eastern Saudi Arabia _ killed a British man and wounded four of his compatriots between Nov. 17 and Dec. 15.
