North Carolina woman accused of leaving baby in trailer

LEXINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Authorities have accused a North Carolina woman of leaving her baby alone in a trailer.
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office told local news outlets deputies were called to the trailer after getting a call on Monday about an infant being left inside.
According to the sheriff's office, when deputies they arrived, they found the door to the trailer open and the child inside unattended.
Deputies charged 28-year-old Brittany Baker with child abuse and jailed her on a $10,000 bond. It's not known if she has an attorney.
