DevOps World | Jenkins World 2018 San Francisco Offers Extensive Training and Workshops to Enhance Jenkins and DevOps Skills

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug 30, 2018--CloudBees, the conference organizer, and the Jenkins community, the community of practitioners using Jenkins, today announced a full program of training and workshops at the upcoming DevOps World | Jenkins World 2018 conference in San Francisco. The training and workshops are add-ons to the regular conference registration. DevOps World | Jenkins World will be held in two locations this year, on September 16-19 in San Francisco, and on October 22-25 in Nice, France.
All attendees who register for a full conference pass receive a free certification exam voucher. The voucher can be used to take the exam on-site or at a later date. The training and workshop add-ons are an opportunity to drill into current DevOps topics and technologies in-depth, and then bring that knowledge back to the attendee’s organization.
The DevOps World | Jenkins World San Francisco conference will have more than 30 training and workshop sessions covering a variety of continuous delivery (CD) and DevOps topics. Additionally, the regular conference sessions total more than 100 and provide learning opportunities from industry experts on a variety of continuous delivery and DevOps topics.
Training Opportunities Available– September 16 and September 17 Led by DevOps Institute, this course will provide a practical understanding of DevOps and leadership skills. – September 16 and September 17 This course provides a practical understanding and hands-on experience with Value Stream Mapping. – September 16 and September 17 This training session introduces the components and supported configurations of the CloudBees Core product suite. – September 16 and September 17 Understand and implement the CloudBees Core reference architecture for Kubernetes by installing the product. Learn to administer CloudBees Core on Kubernetes. – September 16 and September 17 This training session is an in-depth introduction to using the Jenkins Dashboard to run and manage builds. – September 16 and September 17 This course introduces the continuous discipline and the role of Jenkins in the software development cycle. – September 16 and September 17 Attendees will learn to create and run Declarative Pipelines with the Blue Ocean Editor, which is the easiest and safest way to define a build. – September 16 and September 17 This training course expands upon information learned from Jenkins Pipeline for intermediate attendees. – September 17 This hands-on lab will introduce the key concepts of automating developer team's infrastructure. – September 17 In this workshop, attendees will walk through the installation, configuration and use of Jenkins on Google Kubernetes Engine.
