VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Andrei Nazarov and Branko Radivojevic scored two minutes apart in the third period as the Phoenix Coyotes spoiled the Vancouver Canucks' home debut with a 3-1 preseason win Thursday night.

Krystofer Kolanos also scored for the Coyotes (2-1-0-1), who were playing their second road game in two nights.

The Canucks have now dropped three straight and scored just two goals since winning their first two preseason games against Minnesota.

Kolanos opened the scoring on the power play late in the second after forward Magnus Arvedson took a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct for butt-ending.

Matt Cooke tied the game on a breakaway 3:26 into the third. But Nazarov scored an unassisted goal on a long slap shot after Brendan Morrison turned the puck over in his own end, and Radivojevic added an insurance goal on a power-play rebound.

Phoenix goalie Zac Bierk stopped all seven shots before giving way to Brian Boucher midway through the second period. Boucher only faced eight shots, including just five from the Canucks in the final period.

Cloutier played the entire game for Vancouver, finishing with 21 saves.
