Man, child expected to survive double shooting

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — East Hartford police are investigating the shooting of a man and a 5-year-old boy whose injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Officers and paramedics responded to a home on Great Hill Road on Thursday.
Police Lt. Joshua Litwin says the two victims are expected to survive.
Authorities haven't released the victims' names or details of what happened. No arrests have been announced.
