Mets' Hamilton Undergoes Surgery

NEW YORK (AP) _ New York Mets outfielder Darryl Hamilton underwent surgery Monday on his left knee and left big toe.
Hamilton, expected to be ready for spring training, had scar tissue removed from his knee, and loose bodies and bone spurs removed from the toe.
Hamilton hit .315 last season for Colorado and New York with nine homers and 45 RBIs.
