ATLANTA (AP) _ Tracy Henderson scored a career-high 28 points and Saudia Roundtree added 27 Tuesday night, sending No. 14 Georgia past Georgia Tech 113-81 in the finals of the ISES Southern Invitational.
Georgia Southern (1-6) beat Georgia State (1-6) 76-70 in the consolation game.
Henderson also had 11 rebounds, and La'Keshia Frett added 15 points and Kedra Holland 13 for the Lady Bulldogs (5-0). Kisha Ford led Georgia Tech (4-2) with 22 points, while Christie Finney had 18 and Joanah Kauffman 15.
Georgia took a 6-0 lead on consecutive 3-point shots by Holland. Tech countered with a basket by Kauffman but never got closer than five points after that. The Lady Bulldogs led 53-31 at the half and shot 63 percent in the second half as they stretched the lead.
Roundtree, who had nine assists and seven rebounds, was named the tournament's most valuable player.
