Teen girl pushed to the ground dies

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — A 15-year-old Massachusetts girl who hit her head when she was pushed to the ground has died.
Cambridge police say the girl was walking to a friend's home at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday when she was shoved.
The girl was hospitalized in critical condition. She was pronounced dead at around 2:45 p.m. Monday.
Cambridge Rindge and Latin School officials say that the teenager was one of their students. The school is offering grief counselors to staff and students.
The medical examiner's office is investigating the cause and manner of death. Her identity has not been released.
No arrests have been made, and a police investigation is ongoing.
