Former agent for ex-NFL star Moss given law license back

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — An ex-agent for former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss has been given his law license back.
The West Virginia Supreme Court on Tuesday granted a petition by Dante diTrapano of Charleston.
Justice Margaret Workman wrote that the decision "sends the message that there is hope in the battle against the disease of addiction that so many families are facing."
The court annulled the license in 2007, about a year after Moss dropped diTrapano. DiTrapano, his wife and three others were arrested in 2006 in a Florida hotel room where police found a large amount of cocaine. He also was convicted that year of being a drug addict in possession of firearms.
DiTrapano later admitted to submitting false information on a loan application and using some proceeds for himself.
