NEW DELHI, India (AP) _ A crude bomb exploded Thursday at a crowded railroad station, injuring at least 22 people, police and witnesses said.
The explosion ripped through the floor of the Shamli Express, which had just pulled into the Old Delhi terminal before heading to the nearby city of Saharanpur, police said.
Police said the bomb apparently was placed under one of the seats. The blast occurred as people were beginning to board the unreserved car.
It was the first such explosion this year in India's capital. No one claimed responsibility for the blast.
