BROUSSARD, La. (AP) _ John Wilson overcame an upset stomach and high winds Friday to fire a 7-under-par 65 and take a three-stroke lead after the second round of the $300,000 Nike Louisiana Open.

Battling winds that reached 43 mph and suffereing from nausea, Wilson recorded the best round of the day by five strokes for a two-day total of 6-under 138.

Casey Martin, making his third start since a federal court ruled he can use a cart in tour competition, shot a 73-151 and failed to make the cut, which was 150.

Emlyn Aubrey was alone in second place at 141 after a 70, while Steve Flesch shot a second straight 71 and is in third, another stroke back.
