Wesco International: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Wesco International Inc. (WCC) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $58 million.
The Pittsburgh-based company said it had profit of $1.22 per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of $1.22 per share.
The maker of electrical and industrial maintenance supplies and construction materials posted revenue of $2.1 billion in the period, beating Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.09 billion.
Wesco International expects full-year earnings to be $4.60 to $5 per share.
Wesco International shares have fallen 12 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 19 percent in the last 12 months.
