MONROE, La. (AP) _ Northeast Louisiana, led by Terrell Jeter with 26 points and Maurice Bell with 20, used a 20-10 run early in the second half to break open a close game Monday night and roll to a 90-70 win over Arkansas-Monticello.

Northeast's third straight victory improved the Indians to 4-6. UAM fell to 2-8.

Jeter, averaging 23.3 points in the last three games, and Bell each had six points in the decisive run, which extended Northeast's 49-42 lead to 69-52 with 9:34 to play.

Daryl Jones added 12 points, five assists and four steals for Northeast, while Marcus Anthony had 12 points.

Shawn Stewart led UAM with 19 points, followed by Adam Patrick with 15, Marlon Williams 13 and Chris Daniels 10.
