TACOMA, Wash. (AP) _ TrueBlue Inc. (TBI) on Monday reported second-quarter profit of $17.7 million.

The Tacoma, Washington-based company said it had net income of 44 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 57 cents per share.

The blue-collar temporary staffing company posted revenue of $614.3 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in October, TrueBlue expects its per-share earnings to range from 75 cents to 81 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $662 million to $677 million for the fiscal third quarter.

TrueBlue shares have declined nearly 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $27.30, a climb of nearly 8 percent in the last 12 months.
