LONDON (AP) — India has been fined for bowling at a slow over-rate during their fifth and final test against England at The Oval.

The International Cricket Council match referee Ranjan Madugalle announced the sanctions Monday, a day after England wrapped up the five-match series 3-1

The ruling stated that Mahendra Singh Dhoni's lineup was three overs short of its target at the end of the match.

Captain Dhoni was fined 60 percent of his match fee, and faces a one-test ban if he's found guilty of a similar breach in the next 12 months. The rest of India's starting XI was fined 30 percent of their match fees.
