BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Authorities have identified the woman killed in a weekend hit-and-run crash on the north side of Billings.
The Billings Gazette reports 22-year-old Tristan Gray was found dead early Saturday morning in the eastbound lane of Montana Highway 3 near the Billings Logan International Airport.
Yellowstone County Assistant Deputy Coroner Rich Hoffman says Gray was killed by multiple blunt force trauma caused by a vehicle.
Police are searching for two "vehicles of interest" observed departing the area before officers arrived at the scene. One was a white 2000s model Yukon or Suburban and the second a dark-colored mid-1980s pickup truck, possibly towing a trailer.
Authorities ask people with information about the crash to call the Billings police.
