Edwards leads USC women past Arizona 78-52

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sadie Edwards scored 23 points and USC cruised to a 78-52 win over Arizona on Sunday.
Minyon Moore added 15 points with nine assists, eight rebounds and four steals for the Trojans (17-8, 7-7 Pac-12). Kristen Simon had 13 points and Jordan Adams and Aliyah Mazyck 10 each.
Edwards hit back-to-back 3-pointers, Simon and Moore followed with baskets for a 10-0 run and a 32-16 lead 6:20 before the half. After an Arizona basket, the Trojans reeled off nine more, capped by Edwards' 3-point play.
Moore had a 3-point play in the final minute and USC led 47-23 at the half.
Sam Thomas led the Wildcats (6-19, 2-12) with 22 points.
Edwards had four 3-pointers and the Trojans were 11 of 27 behind the arc (41 percent) and 28 of 57 overall (49 percent). Arizona was 9 of 25 from distance but 10 of 31 inside the arc.
