LOS ALAMOS LAB-DRONESLOS ALAMOS, N.M. — One of the nation's premier nuclear weapons labs has designated restricted airspace over a swath of northern New Mexico and now has the capability to disable drones or any other unauthorized unmanned aircraft systems. Officials at Los Alamos National Laboratory say they're testing the new system and that it could serve as a model for other federal installations. SENT: 330 words.
LOS ANGELES— A bipartisan proposal in Congress to ease the federal ban on marijuana includes provisions intended to encourage more banks to do business with cannabis companies. The plan has President Donald Trump's tentative approval, but even if enacted industry experts say shifting policy in Washington and dense layers of regulation could keep many banks on the sidelines.
