Delaware State Police: Teen arrested for 5 robberies

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police say a teenage boy has been arrested in a series of robberies that happened over the past year.
Police say in a statement that the 17-year-old from Wilmington was arrested on Tuesday. He was charged with six counts of first-degree robbery and five counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.
Police say he was suspected in multiple robberies at several businesses including a McDonald's and a Walgreens. Detectives had found evidence linking him to five robberies that occurred between January 2017 and January 2018 during a search at his home.
He was being held in the New Castle County Detention Center for $140,000 bail. It is unclear if he has a lawyer.
