FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) _ Raimonds Miglinieks scored 25 points and had 10 assists Saturday night as UC Irvine beat Cal State-Fullerton 91-83 in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Kevin Simmons had 20 points and nine rebounds for the Anteaters (11-16, 6-12 Big West). Khalid Channell added 13 points for UC Irvine; Michael Tate had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Zuri Williams had 11 points.

Chuck Overton led Fullerton (7-19, 5-13) with a career-high 26 points. Winston Peterson had 17 points and nine rebounds and Dave Harrison had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Titans, who lost the game at the foul line, making just 17-of-30 free throw attempts to 27-of-39 for the Anteaters.

Miglinieks made a 3-point shot with 4:09 remaining to snap a 74-all tie and put the Anteaters ahead for good. Miglinieks made another basket to make it 79-74 and Williams followed with two free throws to complete a 7-0 UC Irvine spurt.

Fullerton led through most of the first half, but UC Irvine went on a 10-0 run to take a 33-24 lead. The Anteaters led at halftime 42-40. Fullerton led 58-55 when UC Irvine's Mark Odsather made a 3-point shot to tie the game. The Titans didn't lead after that.

UC Irvine made 30 of its 55 field goal attempts while UC Irvine was 30-of-65 from the floor.

The teams meet again on Thursday in a first-round game of the Big West tournament in Las Vegas. The Anteaters finished eighth and the Titans ninth in the regular-season standings.
